Frequently Asked Questions

What does my subscription include?

Your monthly subscription includes access to all current content within the Fatigue Wellbeing Hub. The content will be changed and updated on a monthly basis, as the Fatigue Wellbeing Hub has been designed as a fluid platform to keep all content relevant and up to date.

I have not been formally diagnosed with fatigue, but I am suffering with the symptoms described on your website- can I still access the hub?

Yes! Very often a formal diagnosis in fatigue can take years or it can be the result of other medical intervention and seen as a side effect. The hub has been designed to provide helpful day to day management tips for fatigue suffers.

Can’t I just do this by myself?

Yes of course you can, but at Salus we have built up 10 years worth of skills, knowledge and experience you can use to ensure you succeed. We help you understand and manage the different elements of managing your fatigue.

But I can access all the information and help I need from books and the internet?

There is certainly more than enough information about fatigue available through books and the internet, but it can often be inaccurate or not applicable to your current symptoms. The media often over simplify news stories and much of what we read is written by unqualified people making untrue claims. This has resulted in mass confusion and misunderstanding about what we should and shouldn’t be doing when it comes to managing fatigue and the related symptoms. At Salus, we have the hands on experience and qualifications to provide correct, evidenced-based and safe advice.

I can just ask my GP?

As with all medical conditions, your first port of call should be your GP. They will be able to provide you with appropriate clinical advice.

However what many of our beneficiaries have found is that they still need practical advice for the day to day management of their Fatigue. At Salus we have 10 years experience, both practical and personally, that has been tailored to help people with a range of fatigue symptoms.

I am not based in the UK, can I still access the Fatigue Wellbeing hub?

Yes the hub has been designed for use on an international basis

What qualifications do the team have?

Salus’ services are provided by qualified health practitioners which are delivered under The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines, a Department of Health sponsored body, whose aim is to develop quality standards to help prevent ill health and promote healthier lifestyles. They will also have several years experience in their chosen field. The team at Salus are also able to offer practical advice, that has helped them through their own personal experience’s with fatigue.

Salus does not provide, advocate or promote the use of services that claim to provide a cure, or imply they provide medically approved relief, from symptoms experienced through Fatigue conditions.
