Mental fitness
We tend to think a powerful mind means we are mentally fit. Our minds in fact tend to limit us at every opportunity and drain our energy if we allow it. We need to take ourselves out of our mind to see situations more clearly. Mental fitness is more about awareness of self.
Our minds are brilliant at creating self-doubt, especially if we are feeling stressed. It is easy to listen to doubts and negative self-talk. We can learn to push through these doubts and tendency to overthink and expand our mental fitness and awareness. By practicing living more in the now moment and placing our attention more on the present rather than focusing on past events or becoming anxious about what may happen in the future, we develop our awareness and mental agility to accept the things we can control and those we cannot. By simply observing and using our senses we become aware through what we see, hear, smell, taste and feel. Thinking separates us from the current situation. Awareness allows us to perceive things more accurately.

A Daily 5 minute Worrying Exercise to relieve anxiety
The purpose of this exercise is to make ourselves aware that our worries a lot of the time are not as negative as we think they are and by focusing on gratitude we allow ourselves of what we do have in life rather than what we perceive we lack. There is always something to be grateful for!
